Aditya S Ghorpade joined the Company in the year 1992. He pursued his PUC and B.Com from Vijayanagara College, Hosapet. He also attended a Management Programme conducted by I.I.M. Bangalore from August 24 to November 13, 1992. Aditya is also a passionate wildlife photographer. After working in different capacities inside the organisation, he is now working as President Plant operations from the year 2019.

Uttam Kumar Bhageria joined the Company on 15 September 2021 as Chief Financial Officer. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He holds around 20 years of experience in managing Finance & accounts of Manufacturing, Engineering and Consulting. Prior to joining us, he worked with prestigious organizations viz Steer Group of Companies and Deloitte. On 9 February 2022, he was appointed as Chief Risk Officer of the Company in addition to his role as Chief Financial Officer.

Saleem holds B. Com and LLB degrees from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He is also a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, New Delhi. He has garnered vast experience working with organisations dealing with ferroalloy and power businesses before joining SMIORE as a Company Secretary in 2005. While serving as Company Secretary and later as the Chief General Manager of Mines, Saleem played a crucial role during the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s suspension of mining operations arising due to a PIL regarding illegal mining.
